Charlotte de Witte, a Belgian techno star, has launched a new brand of soy sauce called Tears of Soy. She collaborated with an independent soy sauce brewery in Rotterdam, Tomasu, to develop a recipe combining traditional Chinese condiment, Belgian beer culture and heritage. The hop-based product was launched at Flanders Expo, where the first of her KNTXT Konnected parties was held. De Witte admitted to having a slight addiction for soy sauce and said that together with Tomasu, they have created a premium product that has a strong connection with the Belgian beer culture and heritage. De Witte is scheduled to play several high-profile festivals this summer, including Movement Detroit and London’s Junction 2.
